The secret to marketing your invention is finding a buyer with distribution already in place where your idea can be distributed and sold. GIA can assist from concept, design, prototype, production, packaging and sales. GIA ’s preferred manufacturing client profile are the suppliers with a unique product and limited international sales, whose management believes that a well-researched and well-defined plan is their best strategy for entering select international markets. Ideally, the product should command a large market share in its home marketplace and currently be exported to, at minimum, a few select foreign markets. GIA seeks suppliers in Consumer, commercial and industrial product suppliers There are many cultural differences to be considered and this requires a commitment from the supplier to best understand the GIA Trade process. GIA seeks manufacturing companies and suppliers of innovative product that is not easily copied. Your company may have no prior international experience, but would have a desire to globalize the product. Your firm should be prepared to obtain patents and/or trademarks in the markets where they seek distribution, and be flexible in their approach to a wide range of distribution options. All GIA client manufacturer and suppliers should be prepared to provide exceptional customer service and support . In return, GIA network partners will provide the local, "hands on" expertise needed to ensure that the client’s specific international business development needs are being met. Making money is the main goal of every inventor who thinks up a new product idea or product improvement. Ultimately, every inventor is looking to secure rights to their idea and to find a buyer willing to license or purchase their idea for as much money as possible. This is the fundamental concept of the invention process and we thoroughly understand how this concept and process works. The difference between one inventor and another is not the desire to profit from their idea; the difference lies in the actions taken by each inventor and how they go about finding a buyer). A. Find a buyer who is willing to pay you a royalty for the rights to your idea, which they would manufacture, produce and sell. B. Find a buyer who is willing to distribute and sell your product that you arranged to manufacture and produce. How can we help? Finding buyers is our specialty. By utilizing our proprietary GIA ™ system, we can match your idea with a buyer that is already a member of our GIA ™ network. Our goal is to continually develop relationships and build our network of buyer members. By building and sustaining our GIA ™, we are able to connect our buyers with our inventors in a much easier and streamlined fashion. Finding a buyer is the most difficult and time-consuming step in the invention process and through technology, experience and persistence, we have greatly reduced the complexity of this process for our customers. What makes the GIA ™ system work? In addition to having relationships with prospective buyers, the key to working with buyers is being able to easily and consistently present ideas in a professional and organized manner. Our buyers understand and have come to expect that we will present a consistent and professional web site each time we share an idea for them to review. With a seemingly endless supply of ideas for prospective buyers, they do not have the time or interest in evaluating disorganized and poorly prepared invention portfolios. We prepare a highly professional and consistent invention portfolio for every customer in the form of a personal invention website. The website becomes the primary tool for communicating your invention details, pictures, drawings or virtual prototype to prospective buyers. Although, we work on a contingency basis (no cost) to find a buyer for your idea, every inventor must "at a minimum" invest in our "Basic Package". You are not required to invest in a higher-end version of the portfolio site (i.e.: Plus and Premium Packages), however, it is essential that you have the basic and primary tool for sharing your idea with prospective buyers (i.e.: the basic portfolio website).
